Hand Chimes

Using a similar mechanism to Hand Bells, Hand Chimes are tuned rectangular metal bars that are rung by hand and sounded by an external clapper mechanism. Hand Chimes were originally intended to be used as a training tool for prospective handbell ringers, however are lighter and more resilient than handbells, so are very much favoured in Schools.
