The Mad About 16" Crash Cymbal like its namesake, produces a loud, sharp, and crisp, bright "crash", used mainly for occasional accents as opposed to rhythmic pattern. Crash cymbals were traditionally placed on the left side of the drum set (for a right-handed drummer), since the normally larger ride cymbal is usually on the right, however some drummers set up their crash on the right. This cymbal is a great choice for players with beginner 5-piece kits looking to add to their cymbal set-up and increase their cymbal options during songs.
