    It was well constructed but unless I was a complete idiot this isn't a clip, more like a holder. My Shure SM58 rested in this rather than gripped, with the mic being too slim to be held. It was free, so can't complain too much and it kept the mic in place. You're limited with angle usage though because of the lack of grip.
