The Tiger Microphone Stand with Weighted Round Base is a durable and reliable heavy-duty companion for the gigging vocalist. This particular stand features a rounded cast iron base which offers unrivalled stability, setting it apart from other stands like it. It's fully adjustable telescopic stem can be attuned to the best height for you, allowing you to be comfortable whilst performing. This microphone stand is equipped with a grooved grip and 6 rubber pads so you can easily move it around your home, studio or venue without damaging floor surfaces.

Included is a malleable microphone clip to suit a wide variety of microphones. If you'd prefer to use your own microphone clip, a thread adapter is provided for use with both 3/8" and 5/8" threaded clips. You'll also receive a sturdy plastic cable clip to keep your cable tidy.

    This mic stand ticks all the boxes for me. It’s sturdier than a boom mic and sits nicely in my teaching room. My students love it. It’s easily height adjustable and simple to use. It securely holds the microphone in place and, as many of my students like to hold the mic stand to give them a bit of confidence, it’s right there in front of them, and won’t tip over (like a boom sometimes can). If all you have to do is sing, this is the perfect mic stand for you. It’s really solid and won’t tip. If you’re playing an instrument as well as singing, I’d suggest a boom mic stand, but for singers, or single instrument players, this is a great value, quality product.

    A great improvement on the last Tiger stand! I purchased the 'heavy duty' boom version and was unlucky as when moving it the base was broken. However the five stars also go to DJM Music Ltd. A prompt email reply,with no need to return the broken one and a reversion back to the old price for the original stand so I didn't have to pay any more. The new stand arrived quickly and is just what I need and works great. If you are using a Shockmount and a Portable Vocal Booth as I am, then this weighted straight type is what you need to compensate the weight of the attachments previously mentioned.
