Does the job required of it: lighting music stands for 24 choristers. Clips well onto choir stalls (thick shiny wood stand) and provides more than adequate light. Can also be used in procession but a little unwieldy for that: best fixed to stand. As good as more expensive (better known) brands. Sensible switch on head although we always remove a battery- on switches easy knocked on and left on. A single stand light will actually light two folders and is more than enough for a single folder. I would recommend the 4 LED version although I don't know how well batteries will last! Would be nice to get white branding off the clip, though. That bit looks a little naff! Prompt and effective service from DJM with best price on the Internet!!!

Worked very well. It has rubber pads on the clip for firm clamping to the music stand unlike some others that I've seen. The lights are controlled individually in each head - one click, 1 light/ two clicks two lights/ three clicks, off. I had to remove a battery from the unit to put it away as it turned itself on against the inside of the box. Otherwise perfect!

Thanks for getting them to me just in time. They were absolutely fantastic. I took them out to the Caribbean for 4 concerts. I also used them attached to back on my book when ready. Perfect as light in bedroom was very poor. Regards Geraldine

On first use my first impressions are that the goosenecks work well. The spring clip is very secure on the music stand I use in concerts (it was tested in a large church setting). The spread of light is very good and no doubt helped in this model by having four LED bulbs (twoin each lamp head). The only slight drawback is that light output, although nice and bright, is a blue/white colour. Normal Tungsten bulbs give a more natural, yellowish light. To be fair, this is the same kind of light output from any LED unit, whichever brand,/model you choose and LED's have much less power consumption so your batteries will last longer. A bonus on this model is that each lamp head has it's own switch that can independently change each lamp head's setting from Off - On (one bulb; half brightness) - On (two bulbs; full brightness). Lots of options to suit most people's preferences. This unit is also good value for money.
