When I received the...
When I received the Natural Bongo Drum Set, one of the the rubber feet was missing, but later found floating about the box. Indeed, all the rubber feet were poorly secured, but without them the screw threads on the ends of the drum-head adjusters would scratch any surface the bongos were placed upon. The skin of the macho was also rough in one area. I rotated the skin to get this out of the way, tightened the drum heads (very necessary) and used electrical insulating tape to re-attach the rubber feet so that they stayed on. The tone of the drum is very 'dead' compared to other bongos I have heard, but I guess you get what you pay for. I'll use it for practice and then buy something better if I get good enough.
