I needed something cheap and cheerful in a hurry. It's a lot better quality than I expected, and as I'm quite heavy-handed as a drummer, I anticipate that it will last for a while. Good compact design, not too heavy in the kitbag, and solid enough despite the small footprint. Didn't quite understand the overwhelming smell of mothballs in the packaging though...must be a helluva moth they have...
